Monitoring the state of the parse

A Progress SAX application keeps track of the status of the parse by monitoring the value of the SAX-reader’s PARSE-STATUS attribute, which can assume the following values:

SAX-UNINITIALIZED
SAX-RUNNING
SAX-COMPLETE
SAX-PARSER-ERROR
